Forthcoming Courses for smallholders

We hold regular courses and events for smallholders - including our annual show in the summer. You do not have to join the NSTG to attend, but it is cheaper if you do!

Introduction to Permaculture with Nigel Mckean and Brenda Powyst

Discover what permaculture is, what principles it follows and where it can be applied.

Time: 10am-4:30pm
Cost: £10 limited to 12 places (non members £20)
Venue: Corpusty. Overnight camping possible.


August

Make charcoal in an oil drum with Nick Griffiths.

Learn how to make charcoal in an oil drum. Nick used to make charcoal in a full size kiln and will look at several designs of oil drum based kiln on the course.
